I haven’t gone to one-on-one therapy since just after my dad passed away, which was almost 10 years ago. After a rough start to 2019 I have decided to go back. I believe it is a useful tool for literally anyone, mental disorder/brain condition or not.
The funny thing is, I think I am more ok than I am. I know once I leave my appointment I am going to be a mess. That’s just how it works for me. With that said, I am happy to be going back, and hopeful.
I am tired this morning and want to go back to sleep, but I have errands to run before I head to my appointment and then to work.
